Temp: base 33, summit 30
Skiing: Visibility at the top is foggy, but improving slowly as the skies clear. The groomed terrain is excellent. Smooth, soft-ish with some rogue ice patches on the heavily skied stuff, like the very top of Nosedive.
Skiing over on the Gondola is even more spring-like. The kind of snow that's dense enough to remain compact, but still flies off the tail of your ski like a rooster tail.
The mountain continues to have problems with the quad, which broke down this morning. Not cool for those who were on it. Skiers and riders made their way over to the triple and eventually the Lookout double opened.
Weekend Outlook: The weather forecast calls for mixed precipitation tomorrow, switching over to snow Saturday night. Temperatures will stay in the 20s Sunday, and the chance of snow is 30 percent. The skiing will be great, so just pack a shell with a hood and you will be fine. It will shield you from possible ice pellets.

Temp: base 12, summit, 7
Skiing: Brrrr! But the sun is out and it will warm things up. The storm-ettes yesterday left about six inches of new snow on the mountain and the skiing is divine. There was lots of grooming overnight, and the new snow has freshened the woods. Careful, though it is pretty fast.

Temp: base 28, summit, 19
Skiing: It's warmer today and lightly snowing on the mountain. The forecast isn't calling for much more than a dusting, but we could pick up an inch or two. It's supposed to be on and off throughout the day. The skiing is very nice. Lots of grooming overnight and the surface is firm but easy to get an edge into. Some spots are more sugary than others, but it's only to be expected with the weather we have had recently. Enjoy!

Skiing: It's a clear and cold morning with temperatures expected to rise to the high 20s by late morning. Should be an excellent, fast, firm day up on the hill. Lots of grooming overnight, some trails more buffed out than others. The Ski Bum race is on Gondolier today, not the Slalom Hill.
