Wind: tolerable and moderate for now, but due to increase as the day goes on and the storm sets in.
Snow: slick, hard and carvable, just like yesterday. it is snowing right now though, with conditions changing between sleet, freezing rain and snow expected.
Other: flat light prevails, so put in your yellow and orange lenses.

Jan. 31

Temp: base 14 summit 1
Wind: wind is strong, affecting lifts on spruce. easy street lift is on wind hold and so are the sunny spruce, alpine & sensation lifts. winds are expected to diminish as the day goes on, and the lifts will be open accordingly.
Snow: slick, hard and carvable.
Other: the wind is making it chilly, so bundle. sharpen your edges.

Jan. 29

Temp: base 21 summit 28.
Wind: calm, but becoming stronger through the day.
Snow: groomers are good, especially hayride. packed powder that you can really stand on.
Other: it's cold in town, just 9 degrees, but an inversion is making it eerily warm on the mountain. it's supposed to warm throughout the day, possibly rain. chance of precipitation tomorrow is 90 percent. let's hope it's all snow!

Jan. 28

Temp: nice and warm! and sunny! 25 at the base and 20 at the top.
Wind: wind is moderate at the top.
Snow: the snow in the sun is nice and soft and the mountain was groomed out well. woods are still good if you can find a fresh track, but the weekend snow gave the mountain a lot of traffic.
