Snow: surprise powder overnight! there's about seven inches of beautiful fresh snow up there! underneath, the snow is a bit more dense with some ice patches. packed powder conditions prevail. excellent skiing mountain wide. lightly snowing.
20 percent chance of snow tomorrow.
Other: the arctic air that blasted the mountain yesterday has toned down, making for tolerable temps. word has it they'll be a bunch of buses up there today, so ski off the triple or double to avoid lines.
temps tomorrow are expected to rise into the low 20s.

Temp: base 5 summit -3.
Wind: breezy with higher winds as you crest the upper reaches of the quad. brrrrr factor is high today.
Snow: dry and squeaky with some wind-blown sections.
Other: it's a beautiful, clear morning, albeit brisk. dress warmly and bring along some emergency hand warmers.

Temp: base 13 summit 4.
Wind: light winds.
Snow: yesterday's snow on and off through the day amounted to about 8 inches of nice, light, fluffy snow. outstanding conditions today, and the mountain made snow overnight.
Other: tomorrow and saturday eastern cup slaloms will be held on hayride. the races will be worth checking out as some of the best skiers in the east will be there tuning up for the uvm carnival next weekend.

Wind: the wind isn't very strong today. about 10 mph at the top.
Snow: the report is very much the same as it's been for a while now. groomers are great, snow is nice - there's just not much of it. there's a chance of flurries today, in fact, it is snowing right now. snow at the stake is down to 51 inches.

Jan. 21 Martin Luther King Day
Temp: base 0 summit -5.
Wind: wind out of the west up to about 10 mph with stronger gusts.
Snow: the snow is nice and squeaky this morning. dry and cold, great groomed terrain. there's training this morning for racers getting ready for the men's eastern cups at stowe this weekend, but they will open the trail later.
Other: skiing is great, just add a few more layers and charge up your boot heaters.
